So, occasionally when I do image research, I come across some really weird stuff. Really strange depictions of things, animals, people… But I think i have found a winner. Ladies, gentlemen and non binary folks, I present to you, what appears to be, I suppose, a cat?!
This is a detail from
Abraham Mignon’s - Flower Still Life. It (the presumed cat), is depicted here in the process of tipping the beautiful flower arrangement over, during its attempt of confronting a trapped rat or a mouse. Notice how the artist depicts only its shadow. No doubt he knew he did a crap job with the cat and decided to stay away from depicting any other animals.
This is the entire painting. Which admittedly is not that bad! But the cat tho you guys…The poor cat.
The attention to detail in this work is otherwise remarkable. Notice the snail which is upside down on the left hand-side. There are several insects scattered all over. Also, the water that pours out of the vase!
the concept of yelling at employees is so alien to me, like a retail worker could fucking stab me and id probably still thank them for their time
as a person who works in retail, the nicest customers are always teenagers or people in their twenties. I have never once had an issue with millennials.
Older people have no manners when it comes to retail workers
